Now it’s time to talk about

the things before our eyes.

From laughing worms to weather veins.

Of fire Earth and sky.

From here to there as far as time

can be or so it’s said.

To where the graveyard meets the rabbit.

A time when all is dead.

A time when all is dead.

But then, life oozes from the grave.

Refills our hearts and minds with blood,

sets our feet back on the stage.

Where we listen, smell and feel,

before we open up our eyes.

To claim the things before us,

like the fire Earth and sky.

Shine On Me

You are the moon won’t you illuminate my minds eye.

Don’t leave me blind.  Don’t be unkind.

Shine On Me.

I am the Sun I will shine on the path to our souls.

For us to go.  And you to know.

I love you.  Oh, I do.

I remember walking through a garden of light.

A river flowing at our feet,

capturing our gaze, pulling us to the horizon.

Up the mountain and beyond

Into the great frozen.

Where we perceived the wheel ever turning.

Spinning us down to our center,

where we shared our pools of light.

Reaching deep within our souls,

we cried out to each other.

Oh, stand before me like stars shine

against the shadows I carry

too blind to see,

from dark to dark.

I love you because I need you.

I want you to

Shine On Me.

I am Sol,

Shine on me.

Through The Gate

Everywhere is heaven

when your magic eyes shine through.

Everywhere you go,

the angles follow you.

Walk with me my lady,

through these ancient lands.

A candle and a rose.

We’ll walk hand in hand.

Your footsteps bring up shamrocks,

Your heart shines Goddess love through.

Everybody gazes

in your magic eyes so true.

Gaze into me my lady,

our spirits know the way.

I hear them calling,

wont you let them out to play?

heather grows around you,

your garden and your gate.

When your lovely kitchen calls,

no one shows up late.

I’m never late

To raise the cup of friendship.

Lay the bread out on the plate.

Sip the wine forever,

as we pass through the heather gate.

Through The Gate.

Where four leaved clovers grow,

wherever you look down.

To remind you of your smile,

and forget you of your frown.

Don’t ever frown Through The Gate.

Through the gate.

Where blessings fall like raindrops

on your family and friends.

Heaven rolls with thunder

from the flashing light you send.

I know you send, through the gate.

Through The Gate.

Speak to me my lady,

of your many days.

I need your wisdom,

to find the ancient way.

Through The Gate

Through The Gate

Where we will dream cloud crystal castles

floating o’er a misty aisle.

A heather gated garden,

and your true eyed magic smile.

Smile on me, I will smile on you.

Together we will find

the one path that leads us through.

Through The Gate.

The New Old Fashioned Way

There are people moving through the nation.

With a mission and something to say.

They Gather they’re brothers, they’re sisters and they’re lovers.

And they dance, to the breaking day.

They love the Earth.

Keep sacred all birth.

They gather the roots, the grains and the flowers.

And they dance, till the breaking day.

They look back to the past

for the wisdom we lost.

They grow and they love

and they’re children play.

They’re looking for signs

and they’re hoping to find

the New Old Fashioned Way.

Something is moving through the people of the nation.

Coming down from the heavens above.

They gather they’re brothers, they’re sisters and they’re lovers.

And they dance in perfect love.

When you go down to the river,

bring a coin for the outstretched hand.

You’ll draw your cloak against the shiver,

you’ll be meeting The Ferry Man.

Leave your cares by the wayside.

Put down that old bag of tricks.

You’ll not want to be weighed down.

You’ll be crossing the River Styx.

Is she still there waiting,

barefoot dancer in the sand?

Will I be found wanting,

when I greet that outstretched hand?

When you step on to the ferry,

pay close regard to the outstretched hand.

It is no fair welcome,

it’s time to pay The Ferry Man.

Is she still there waiting,

barefoot dancer in the sand?

Dancing love from heart to heart,

in spite of The Ferry Man.

When you go down to the river,

bring a coin for the outstretched hand.

You’ll draw your cloak against the shiver,

you’ll be greeting The Ferry Man.

I saw you in the shadows as I wandered through my mind.

Looking for bright promise, I found an empty land.

‘Tis not I, the old crow cried, in shrill agony.

Suffering from without, a nestling in an lonely tree.

I spied wolf hunting, baring teeth, eyes a-gleam.

With one eye open, not for you, but breathing close to me.

You, I pulled from bracken, I dusted off your cloak.

The wind still crying Mary, when from that shadow spoke.

I blow around the world, I dread what I see.

I no longer cool, crow’s ageless agony.

The bees have all vanished.  No wing beats for me.

I lift no bird or plane.  Dessert is all there be.

The men have gone to mars.  The moon blown from the sky.

The age of promise past, the promise was a lie.

I felt you in the shadows, as I wandered through my heart.

My blood mixing sadly, with the Earth that fell apart.

Promise is a mystery that only crow can tell.

Before he spoke, he died, he fell into the deep dark well.

Between the stars I heard Her crying.  “What will be will be”.

Sweet NUIT Her scrying eye still seemed sweet to me.

“Another eon passes”.  Is what She said to me.

I believe that promise, was not meant to be.

It kept us all laughing at the torment of crow.

We hunted wolf to many years, now it’s we must go.

I pulled you from the shadows, and gave to you my rib.

Oh no, my name’s not Adam.I would not tell that fib.

But let my bone be a crutch, upon witch you stand.

And draw the circle once again, around the empty sand.

Draw the circle once again, around the empty sand.

Draw the circle once again.
